BRIDGEPORT -- Ola Tennye Chilton Bost, 91, a retired bookkeeper, went to be with our Lord, Monday, July 12, 2010, in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial: Thomas Cemetery.
Dr. David Burrows and the Reverend Craig Erb to officiate.
Ola was born July 11,1919 to James Ernest and Thelma Verdee (Hawkins) Chilton in Bridgeport. She married Charles Emmett Bost on June 13,1937 in Bridgeport. He preceded her in death along with her son, Charles Emmett Bost Jr. and her daughter, Judy Carol Bost. Ola was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, James Bost and his wife Cheryl of Bridgeport; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, Melanie Bost and sons Tyeler and Cody of Bridgeport, Bryan Bost and wife Christine, and their children Megan and C.J. of Okinawa,Japan, Kevin Bost and wife Joanna and their children, Jackson and Julianna of Hull, GA, Patricia Bost of Alpharetta, GA; daughter-in-law, Diane Bost Brooks and husband Courtney of Dawsonville, GA; 2 sisters, Maxine Gregory, Jan Montford and husband Bill, all of Bridgeport; 2 sister-in-laws, Jean Bost of Beaumont, Mary Lois Bost Porter and husband Pete of Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
