Paradise ~ Sue Powers, 65, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Houston.
Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 9th at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Rev. David Rucker will officiate.
Sue was born on September 7, 1946 to Forrest and Marguerite (Jackson) Potteiger in Odessa, Texas. She was united in marriage to Jack Powers on January 20, 1978 in Decatur.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Jack Powers of Paradise; her son, Chase Gilbert and wife Cristy of Decatur; her daughter, Staci Russell and husband Wes of Bridgeport; 5 grandchildren, Beck, Baylie, Taylor, Gabbi, and Piper; her brothers, Jim Potteiger and wife Carolyn (Puddin) of Bridgeport and Steve Potteiger and wife Carol of Sulphur Springs; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
